One Click Politics, Inc. (“Company” or “OCP” or “we”) provides various services and offerings (the “ONE CLICK POLITICS Service,” or “ONE CLICK POLITICS” or “OCP”) currently located at www.oneclickpolitics.com, with tools also available on certain third party sites and mobile apps. This Privacy Policy informs you of the types of information we collect about users, how that information is used, whether and to whom we disclose it, and the choices you have regarding your personal information.

It is very important that you read and understand our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms set out in our Privacy Policy, please do not use ONE CLICK POLITICS.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIRD PARTIES: This Privacy Policy pertains to both information collected on www.oneclickpolitics.com and information collected via OCP widgets, forms, iframes, and similar tools found on third party websites and mobile apps, pages administered by third parties, and links or tools included in third party emails. We strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of those third parties before using any OCP tools which may be hosted or promoted by them. Third party branded pages on the OCP site may have unique privacy policies; if so, the page will display a note or notification that the privacy policies of that organization prevail over the OCP Privacy Policy. In any case, OCP is not liable for any loss of privacy or damages resulting from the use of OCP tools hosted on third party sites, mobile apps, emails, or branded pages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any revisions will be effective upon posting the new Privacy Policy on the OCP website www.oneclickpolitics.com. Your visit to, or use of, ONE CLICK POLITICS constitutes your acceptance of the terms of our Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult the OCP Privacy Policy regularly for any changes (revisions will be reflected by the "last update" notation below).

Collection of Information

While using ONE CLICK POLITICS or its services you may send messages to elected or appointed officials and leadership of certain organizations. ONE CLICK POLITICS routes your messages to the individuals and groups that you select, and delivers the messages using (but not restricted to) the following methods: email, fax, and web form submission. In doing so, we may collect certain information about you.

We may automatically collect certain aggregated data regarding use of ONE CLICK POLITICS, such as the number of users and frequency and manner of usage of ONE CLICK POLITICS. We may also collect aggregated information regarding the use of our services such as the extent to which certain features are used, basic demographic information of users, or locational data such as zip code. Aggregated information is anonymous, statistical information that reflects the scope of our user base, sales, customer patterns and related site information. In addition, certain non-personally identifiable information may be collected by OCP and our third-party advertising providers during your use of ONE CLICK POLITICS and in serving advertisements to the OCP website, including, for example, the number of times you have viewed an advertisement (but not your name, address, or other personal information).

We may also use cookies to track and understand the traffic on the OCP website. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that may be placed onto your computer's hard drive. Cookies identify your computer hard drive so that it can be recognized during future visits. We use cookies to collect and store some information, such as a user’s name of the domain and host from which he or she accesses the Internet, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer a user is using, the date and time a user accesses our website and the Internet address of the website from which a user linked directly to our website. This information does not contain a user’s name or physical address.

Third party advertisements displayed on or in connection with the ONE CLICK POLITICS website may also contain cookies set by such advertisers. We do not control these cookies and users of ONE CLICK POLITICS should check the privacy policy of such advertisers to understand whether and how it uses cookies.

When you create an OCP membership or send a message or sign a petition via OCP or one of its services, we require some or all of the following information:

(i) Your Name

(ii) Your Physical Address, Including Your US zip code

(iii) Your Email Address

OCP may enable its members to choose to publish messages on their profiles. When we do so, we will not disclose your physical address or your phone number but we may disclose a portion of your name and Congressional District, e.g., “John S. in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District”.

Use of Information

Any aggregated information that we collect may be used to better understand how ONE CLICK POLITICS is used, to improve the online experience of our users, and to identify demographic trends. This information is not used in a way that will personally identify you. Aggregated information, as well as other non-personal information may also be used by OCP, its advertising providers, its partners, and organizations using OCP’s tools in order to facilitate and monitor the serving of advertisements and better understand demographic trends.

In addition, the cookies that may be used by OCP and its advertisers are used to better understand its users and customize OCP’s site for users' particular preferences. In the same manner, we may also engage other third parties to monitor the usage of, and serve advertising to ONE CLICK POLITICS. These third parties may use cookies and web beacons (which collect non-personally identifiable information regarding user behavior on the OCP website) to collect such information, which is also used to better understand OCP users and customize the OCP site for users' particular preferences. You may disable cookies by following directions on your web browser. Disabling cookies also disables web beacons. You should be aware, however, that by disabling cookies you may be unable to access certain services and features of ONE CLICK POLITICS.

We may also use information about you and your activities on the OCP website to customize your experience and to customize the content or features of ONE CLICK POLITICS and for the purpose of tailoring the online advertising you may encounter.

We use name and physical address and zip code to include in messages we send on behalf of OCP service users. We may use personally identifiable information including name, email address, and physical address, to fulfill requests for services, to communicate with users about their accounts, to support user online activities, and to respond to questions. We may, at our sole discretion, provide or sell user personally identifiable information including contact information to partners or third-party services, for the purpose of contacting users about causes, goods, services, general information or similar topics. We may use personally identifiable information to notify users of changes to ONE CLICK POLITICS, the Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy. We may also use personally identifiable information and/or profile information to personalize interactive experiences on ONE CLICK POLITICS. For example, we may use personal information to automatically associate elected representatives with users. We may also use any information provided to make improvements that better serve OCP’s users' needs.

To edit the personal information that you entered when you created your account or to make changes to your profile information, you must log-in to www.oneclickpolitics.com and click “Settings” in the tool bar near the top of the page to manage your account and adjust your settings.

Disclosure of Information

We may share non-personally or personally identifiable aggregated statistical information and profile information about users of ONE CLICK POLITICS with third-parties, including our distributors, vendors, advertisers, actual and potential customers, business partners and third-parties that offer products or services for use with ONE CLICK POLITICS.

OCP reserves the right to share your personally identifiable information with third-parties, including, but not restricted to, the following cases:

  • Recipients of messages we send on your behalf will obtain your name, physical address, zip code and phone number.
  • Your partial name identifier, e.g, “John S.”, or screen name may be available through search indexes.
  • As necessary to third parties in order to perform services for OCP in operating and marketing ONE CLICK POLITICS, included but not limited to the monitoring of user behavior the OCP our website and the processing of payments for products or services.
  • We may be obliged or deem it necessary or appropriate to disclose your information in certain special situations. These situations include: in response to legal processes such as a court order or subpoena; to prevent or combat fraud; as required by federal or state law; enforcement of OCP Terms of Use; protection of the rights, property or safety of OCP, government officials, our users or others; indications that law enforcement interdiction may be appropriate.
  • We may disclose your information in the event of a merger, acquisition, or liquidation of OCP to parents, subsidiaries, affiliates of OCP, or others involved in the transaction.
  • We may provide or sell personally identifiable user information to third-parties for the purposes of marketing to users.

If you access any third-party applications, follow links from the ONE CLICK POLITICS website to another website, or view ONE CLICK POLITICS from another website, the information you disclose may no longer be covered by this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to check whether other privacy policies will govern before you release any personal information.

Security

OCP is committed to taking appropriate measures to protect your privacy against unintended disclosures. OCP uses a variety of secure techniques designed to protect your information. While we have implemented safeguards, you should be aware that Internet security technology rapidly changes. As such, we cannot guarantee that the safeguards we employ today can protect your personal information from the threats of tomorrow, or that our security measures are failsafe and not subject to circumvention or unauthorized intrusion. You should also be aware that, despite our best efforts, factors beyond OCP’s control may result in disclosure of data.

Young Children

If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to register for ONE CLICK POLITICS or provide any personal information about yourself to us. Nor should anyone else attempt to register anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. To best protect your child's privacy, we suggest that you carefully supervise your child's access to the Internet and our website. Opt-Out

OCP may provide users the opportunity to opt-out of providing personal information to third parties sponsoring messages sent by the user when sending via a non-third party branded page on the OCP site. Please see note above regarding priority being given to the privacy policies of third parties hosting OCP tools on third party branded pages, platforms, mobile apps, or emails.

We reserve the right to send you administrative messages, service announcements, verification emails, and other similar communications without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Notice for Users Outside of the United States

You should be aware that the United States and other countries have not harmonized their privacy regulations. Because ONE CLICK POLITICS is intended specifically for users in the United States, we have written our Privacy Policy to satisfy United States regulations and make no representations regarding the laws and regulations of other jurisdictions.

Please note: The role of American government officials is to represent and serve their fellow Americans. In order to preserve the value of ONE CLICK POLITICS to U.S. government officials, non-Americans are strongly urged not to send messages using OCP, unless or until OCP has created tools to reach their own government officials.
