United States Health and Human Services (HHS) has a terrible track record when it comes to helping sufferers of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis! There has been essentially no progress in 30 years.
There is no known cause, no cure, no FDA approved treatments, and ME is one of the lowest funded diseases. ME patients urgently need the help of a member of congress to require HHS to fund Federal research at a level commensurate with its burden for the purpose of understanding the biological cause of this disease and identify treatments.
