HB 255 bad for Georgia Businesses
We need your help to make sure HB 255 doesn't make it out of the State Properties committee when it is up for a hearing on Wednesday, March 4th from 2-3PM.
HB 255 would exclude the use of LEED for state buildings and public universities and colleges. This year, Georgia made it into the Top 10 LEED states and the Georgia General Assembly honored the green schools community, but now it seems they want to stifle the enormous progress Georgia has made in energy efficient, healthy, high-performing buildings.
Please contact the State Properties committee chairwoman, Representative Barbara Sims, before Wednesday, March 4th, and ask her to oppose HB 255.
